AES Recycling announces new sustainability partnership with The Curragh Racecourse

AES Recycling has announced a new partnership with The Curragh Racecourse, bringing together two leading Kildare-based organisations to drive more sustainable waste management and recycling practices at the racecourse.

As one of Ireland’s leading waste management providers, AES Recycling is committed to delivering deliver smarter, more effective waste management solutions. The partnership will see AES work closely with The Curragh Racecourse to enhance waste segregation, improve recycling rates and reduce its environmental impact.

Recognised as one of Ireland’s premier racing venues, The Curragh Racecourse stages some of the nation’s most celebrated flat races, including the Irish Derby and the Irish Guineas Festival, attracting thousands of racegoers annually.

Through the partnership, AES Recycling will implement advanced waste processing systems to maximise recycling and recovery. A range of new initiatives will also be introduced, including enhanced recycling infrastructure and educational programmes, aimed at reducing waste and encouraging more sustainable behaviours.

Commenting on the partnership, Evan Arkwright, Racing and Sponsorship Manager at The Curragh Racecourse, said: “The Curragh Racecourse is delighted to partner with AES Recycling for the next three years as we continue to strengthen our commitment to sustainability and environmental stewardship. This collaboration allows us to implement best-in-class waste management practices while maintaining the high-quality experience our racegoers expect.”

The partnership commenced this week through the support of the annual Newbridge Parishes Community Race Day, with AES adding our name to the prestigious First Flier Stakes.
